Summer 2023
I was a relatively new MSU graduate and was with my parents at the game. I don’t remember a lot about the game itself, but I do remember that after the game was over the Bama fans just sat there, mouths hanging open, not moving at all, from the shock of what had just happened. It was awesome! The other thing I remember is that the MSU Alumni Association Christmas cards that year featured a photo of that scoreboard. I wish I had saved it.

Paul cry after the game and I couldn’t understand why. Now, more than 40 years later, I understand with crystal clear vision why he was crying.
